Fields of Wheat: Iron Swords
Fields of Wheat is a ministry dedicated to preparing the next generation to be laborers for Yeshua’s harvest through youth camps, retreats, conferences, and equipping initiatives. Our heart is to bless and strengthen the local body, by serving both Jewish and Arab believers, bringing them together for fellowship, worship, and learning in the presence of God.
On October 9, 2023, two days after the horrific Hamas attack, we responded to critical needs on the front lines by launching Operation Iron Sword—a mission to support IDF soldiers in all-out combat. Through this initiative, we’ve already provided over 3,000 IDF soldiers with high-quality gear— free of charge. But we’re not stopping there.
Our latest and most ambitious project is producing and supplying fireproof tactical uniforms for those who need it most. While new combat recruits are supplied with these essential uniforms, due to the sudden, massive influx of reserve soldiers the IDF can’t keep up with the need. Many reserve soldiers lack this vital piece of protection. These uniforms offer superior comfort, durability, and crucially–fire-resistant materials to reduce burn-related injuries, reducing potentially fatal injuries, ensuring that soldiers can focus on protecting the nation.
Recognizing this gap in available resources, we partnered with the IDF’s Research and Development team to design, test, and manufacture an innovative fire-resistant tactical uniform with the highest testing scores in fire resistance and durability, setting a new standard for safety.
To date, we’ve already given away 500 of these uniforms. Many more are needed and we’re determined to provide them. Our goal is to manufacture an additional 500 units and equip even more of our brave soldiers—completely free of charge. At $300 per uniform, each contribution sponsors a soldier with the essential protection they need.
We’re reaching out to you, our international family, to join us in this mission. Every $300 directly sponsors an IDF soldier, helping ensure their safety on the front lines. Together, let’s make an impact that matters.
